About the Role

The specialized palliative care in Dalarna is a county-wide clinic with several teams covering the entire region. We work with a holistic perspective and strive to create security and good quality of life for patients and their relatives.

Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work with specialized palliative care in the patient's home. You will meet patients of all ages with various diagnoses and complex symptoms. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessment and planning of care based on the patient's needs and health status
• Medical technology and nursing, such as handling central lines, drainage, and medication treatment via pump
• Symptom relief and support for patients and relatives
• Collaboration in a team with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and counselors to create a secure and cohesive care
• Independent work with great responsibility and freedom – you plan your day and spend a large part of your time at the patients' homes

On-call duty at home during nights occurs approximately one week per month.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse (RN)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
